Along the way, he also reunites with a part of his past that helped shape him into the agent he is now.

Ep 1.02 I’m a Pretty Observant Guy

As the GBI continues its investigation on a missing girl, Will becomes frustrated with the suspect search; Angie is forced to evaluate her current relationships as she follows a new case with Ormewood.

Ep 1.03 Don’t Let It Happen Again

Will and Faith’s investigation into a small-town murder has large implications when a connection is drawn to a decades long, covered up cold case. Meanwhile, the death of a security guard perplexes Angie while she contemplates an unexpected dinner invitation from Ormewood, which may rehash some memories from their past.

Ep 1.04 My Stupid Detective Brain

With two dead victims and very few answers, Will and the GBI investigate a call from the state park police alongside the APD. Will, trying to get along with Ormewood for Angie’s sake, makes strides in his partnership with Faith after the two share some personal secrets.

When the wife of a local football hero is shot in a robbery gone wrong, Will is determined to quickly solve the seemingly simple case. Meanwhile, Angie and Ormewood investigate the murder of a local realtor in an investigation which quickly takes a dark turn.

When a convicted criminal takes one of the GBI agents hostage and is accused of murder, Will and Ormewood discover some evidence which could prove their innocence. Meanwhile, Angie struggles with sobriety when she finds out her former abuser is free.

A trailer park massacre leaves a young boy without his family; and Will, strongly opposed to leaving him, becomes his temporary guardian. Meanwhile, Faith receives a visit from her mother, and Angie spirals from incidents of her past.

Will goes undercover as Bill Black, a criminal with a troubled past, to take down a drug organization and find a missing DEA agent. Meanwhile, Angie aims to put her relationship with Will behind her and take matters with Lenny into her own hands.

EP 1.12 Nothing Changed Except for Everything

With Angie on leave, Will and Faith partner up with Ormewood to investigate a string of serial killer cases tied to Will and Angie’s childhood and a chain of incidents, formerly investigated by Amanda and Evelyn, from the ’80s.

EP 1.13 A Bad Temper and a Hard Heart

When an APD agent goes missing, Will examines the crime scene and locates a secret message putting him back on the path to justice. Meanwhile, with his lineage in question, Will realizes the answers he seeks have been in front of him all along.

Day One

Fresh out of the FBI Academy, Simone Clark arrives in Los Angeles and has her sights set on joining Matthew Garza’s newly formed special unit as they investigate the murder of a federal engineer.

Garza’s squad includes Carter Hope, a promotion-hungry traditionalist, Laura Stenson, a talented agent in desperate need of a second chance, and Brendon Acres, a former actor who graduated from Quantico with Simone.

On the home front, Simone and Cutty’s father-daughter relationship is put to the test as their opposing opinions about law enforcement come to a head.

Face Off

Simone utilizes her informant to track down an arms dealer on the FBI’s Most Wanted list; and Brendon, against Laura’s advice, investigates a risky lead on a congressman. When Carter and Brendon each find themselves at a crossroads, they begin to question their futures on the team and their loyalty is tested. Cutty and Simone struggle to see eye-to-eye on how they are helping the community, while Tim and Laura find common ground with their similar no-nonsense approach to training rookies. 

Star Crossed

Garza’s unit gets roped into a complicated kidnapping case involving a forbidden relationship between two rival drug-dealing gangs. Meanwhile, Simone’s love life is heating up; Laura comes face-to-face with her past, and Carter tries to reconnect with his wife.

To Die For

When the team splits up to question a suspect’s father, Simone and Laura discover critical information on how their abusive relationship is connected to the crimes. Following this lead, the team heads to Tucson to save the suspect’s newest target. Meanwhile, sparks fly with Laura and her former colleague, Mark Atlas, as they debate the killer’s motive.

Felicia

Simone and Carter get trapped in the tropics while hunting down a suspect on the run. Simone’s unexpected meet-cute with Dina (Jessica Betts) throws a wrench into Cutty’s love life, and Elena’s high-end fashion splurge cracks open an unsolved murder mystery.

The Reaper

When Simone and Carter go undercover to find an international assassin known as The Reaper, a prisoner seeking bail recognizes Carter and nearly blows his cover. Laura and Brendon trace a lead on The Reaper’s assault rifle while Brendon works to heal his relationship with his father.

Meanwhile, Simone’s demanding work schedule puts a strain on her relationship with Dina.

Countdown

While searching for a missing scientist in the Angeles National Forest, Simone and Carter uncover an eco-terrorist’s plans to detonate dirty bombs across the city. Meanwhile, Brendon taps into his own profiling tactics to find the perfect birthday gift for Laura.

Standoff

After a father and daughter are kidnapped on Thanksgiving, the team discovers a hostage situation involving police deputies.

Flashback


Garza’s character comes into question as he tries to beat charges that he was a mole.

The Silent Prisoner


A mysterious caller threatens to reveal a leaked list of undercover FBI agents if a prisoner is not released. After an exposed agent is mortally wounded, the team identifies the caller and heads to the Port of Los Angeles to secure the release of the prisoner. Later, Simone enlists John Nolan to help her remodel Cutty’s garage into a living space; and Brendon, ready to confess his feelings to Antoinette, discovers she has feelings for someone else.

Close Contact

After a failed assassination attempt involving a bomber, Congressman Damien Roberts hires Garza’s team for protective detail while Brendon and Laura begin investigating potential suspects. Later, Damien and Simone rekindle their romantic relationship, and Brendon advances his relationship with Antoinette.

Out for Blood


As the unit investigates a murder victim whose body has been drained of blood, the gruesome case catches the attention of a true crime show, and Brendon shares his “Vampire Cop” expertise to help solve the case.

The Remora

When Brendon and Antoinette’s first date becomes an undercover operation, they embrace their new roles and make the most of the adventure. Meanwhile, Simone and Laura help Carter boost his dating game, and Simone’s daughter makes a surprise visit with her new boyfriend.

The Offer


When a billionaire’s daughter goes missing, he publicly announces a hefty reward for her safe return, sparking concern for the FBI. Meanwhile, Garza’s ex-wife makes a surprise appearance and shakes things up with the team.

Dead Again


During a recent murder investigation of an investment banker, who was also declared murdered six years ago, the unit follows a suspicious trail that leads to new evidence on both cases. Meanwhile, relationships are put to the test as Fortune considers her future with Carter, and Brendon pushes his limits with Antoinette.

For Love and Money

It’s Valentine’s Day, and love is in the air. The FBI teams up with LAPD to take down a shady Casanova associated to a notorious drug lord. While the remaining of the team celebrates with their new loves, Simone connects with someone new.

Payback

Garza and team are on the hunt for a ruthless gang leader on a mission for revenge. Atlas comes to town to reconnect with Laura, but the two cannot seem to see eye-to-eye, and Simone and Carter grapple with letting go of old grudges.

Seeing Red


After a group of robbers steal a diplomatic pouch, Naomi and the Feds work to prevent an international counterfeit scandal. While Garza reconnects with an old friend, Brendon’s sponsor relapses, and he rethinks his relationship with Antoinette.

Burn Run


As Simone is doing office inventory, she uncovers a trail of bodies that leads her to investigate a case involving a reclusive business tycoon. Meanwhile, Laura and Brendon track down an evidence thief and Carter works to prove Fortune’s innocence.

I am Many

It’s a race against time as the Feds band together to stop death row inmate Foster and his cult following’s killing spree ahead of his execution. Meanwhile, as Cutty and Ruth’s relationship gets serious, Simone and Dina are forced to reconnect.

Bloodline

The FBI takes on a case from LAPD involving a serial murderer who has been leaving limbs across state lines; after the team follows a lead from Antoinette and Elena’s forensic breakthroughs, the killer retaliates against Laura.

Red One (Season Finale)

After an internal investigation unit agent is drugged and buried alive in a desert outside of Vegas, the Feds director enlists Garza’s unit to discreetly investigate. Meanwhile, Simone’s plans for her 49th birthday bash are side lined.
