Drew has landed the part of Emily, based on the Audible series of the same name, Mistletoe Murders will follow Drew’s character, who, when she isn’t running her small-town Christmas-themed store Under the Mistletoe, is compelled to investigate local murders with the help of a local police detective and his teen daughter. On the surface, Emily is a perfectly lovely, good-natured mystery lover, but she is hiding a secret past that, if exposed, threatens to destroy the new life she has built in Fletcher’s Grove. Production on the series gets underway in Toronto in June.

Written by Sheffield-born deaf writer William Mager, “Reunion” sees Gurney (“Name Me Lawand”) play Daniel Brennan, a deaf man who finds himself in prison following a terrible crime. Duff stars as Christine, a woman who is desperate to fine Brennan and uncover the truth.

Also starring are Lara Peake (“How to Have Sex”) as Brennan’s daughter Carly as well as Eddie Marsan (“Back to Black”), who plays Christine’s protective boyfriend Stephen and Rose Ayling- Ellis (“Summer of Rockets”) appears as Christine’s daughter Miri.


Sherlock Holmes-inspired CBS medical drama “Watson” Casting News

The Sherlock Holmes-inspired CBS medical drama “Watson” has added Peter Mark Kendall and Ritchie Coster to its cast; joining series lead Morris Chestnut. The series states it takes place a year after the death of Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty. As the series begins, Dr. John Watson (Chestnut) resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. Watson’s old life isn’t done with him, though; Moriarty and Watson are set to write their own chapter of a story that has fascinated audiences for more than a century.
