Cold Case Reboot?

A reboot of the crime procedural, which aired for seven seasons from 2003 to 2010, is currently in development at CBS. The reboot follows an entirely different group of detectives dedicated to investigating unsolved crimes. The original Cold Case starred Kathryn Morris as homicide detective Lilly Rush. Additional series regulars throughout the show’s run included Justin Chambers, Danny Pino, John Finn, Jeremy Ratchford, Thom Barry and Tracie Thoms.


Grosse Pointe Garden Society Drama at NBC

Matthew Davis (Legacies, The Vampire Diaries) and Alexander Hodge (Insecure) have been added as series regulars. Also appearing will be Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) AnnaSophia Robb (The ActDr. Death) and Ben Rappaport (For the PeopleYounger) in a story about members of a suburban garden club who get caught up in murder and mischief while struggling to make their conventional lives bloom.


Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Paramount+ has renewed the sci-fi series for Season 4 and the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks‘ previously announced Season 5 will now be its last.

Set in the years before Kirk takes the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise, Strange New Worlds follows Captain Christopher Pike (played by Anson Mount), Number One Una Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn) and Science Officer Spock (Ethan Peck) as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.

Rounding out the crew are Nurse Christine Chapel (Jess Bush), La’an Noonien-Singh (Christina Chong), Cadet Nyota Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding), Dr. M’Benga (Babs Olusanmokun) and Lt. Erica Ortegas (Melissa Navia). Season 3 is still in production, with a 2025 release date.


Aang: The Last Airbender Movie

Aang is the first in a trio of standalone Avatar movies first announced in 2022. Dave Bautista and singer/songwriter Eric Nam are set to headline the animated movie slated for theatrical release on Oct. 10, 2025. Bautista will voice a villainous character while Nam will portray Aang.

Dionne Quan (The Fairly OddParents, All Grown Up!), Jessica Matten (Dark Winds, Frontier) and Román Zaragoza (Ghosts) round out the ensemble.


My Life Is Murder Season 4 News

The Lucy Lawless-led crime drama will launch Season 4 with a two-episode premiere Monday, June 17, on Acorn TV. The XL premiere will also air that night on BBC America, at 9/8c. Two new episodes will premiere weekly each Monday, on Acorn TV and BBC America.


Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow Spinoff

The proposed sequel series, which would see Harington reprise his Thrones role as Jon Snow, was first reported to be in the works in June 2022 but is no longer in development.


Those About to Die on Peacock

Those About to Die, the ancient Roman epic starring Anthony Hopkins will premiere Thursday, July 18, with all 10 episodes being released. Hopkins leads a cast that includes Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones), Sara Martins (Death in Paradise) and Tom Hughes (A Discovery of Witches). Roland Emmerich (Independence Day) will direct five episodes and serve as an executive producer; Robert Rodat (Falling Skies) will write the first three episodes, based on the Daniel P. Mannix nonfiction book.
