S.W.A.T. Season 8

CBS initially cancelled S.W.A.T. after six seasons, in May 2023 but less than 72 hours later, the network reversed its decision and renewed the procedural for a seventh, what was to be the final ever season. Stay tuned for more updates.


Beginning May 1, the only way for viewers to stream original Showtime series will be by subscribing to the Paramount+ With Showtime Plan (in the U.S.) and the stand alone Showtime streaming service will shut down on April 30, 2024.


The Night Manager Seasons 2 and 3 Ordered at Amazon

Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) of the John le Carré adaptation will return. Season 2 will reportedly pick up eight years after the events of the freshman finale and will begin filming later this year. Additional plot specifics are not yet available.


Dark Winds Season 3

AMC and AMC+ announced that Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) has been tapped to guest-star on the acclaimed drama as FBI Special Agent Sylvia Washington, while Bruce Greenwood (The Fall of the House of Usher) will play a character named Tom Spenser.

Other Season 3 guest stars include Raoul Max Trujillo (Mayans M.C.) as Budge, Tonantzin Carmelo (La Brea) as Border Patrol Agent Eleanda Garza, Alex Meraz (Animal Kingdom) as Border Patrol Agent Ivan Muños, Terry Serpico (Law & Order: SVU) as Border Patrol Senior Chief Ed Henry, Phil Burke (Rabbit Hole) as Michael Halsey, Christopher Heyerdahl (Hell on Wheels) as Dr Reynolds and newcomer Derek Hinkey as Shorty Bowlegs.

Season 3 of Dark Winds will pick up six months after the events of Season 2 and follow Joe Leaphorn (played by the great Zahn McClarnon) and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon) as they investigate the disappearance of two boys, with only an abandoned bicycle and blood-stained patch of ground left in their wake.

Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito (Jessica Matten) attempts to settle into her new life 500 miles from home with the Border Patrol, but stumbles across a conspiracy involving human and drug smuggling with far-reaching implications. Set for 2025 air date.
