Mayor of Kingstown Season 3

Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) is back in business as a Michigan crime boss in the Paramount+ series, which is from co-creators Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. In Season 3, a series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop in the city, and a drug war rages inside and outside prison walls. The pressure is on Mike McLusky (Renner) to end the war but things get complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatens to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep the peace among all factions.

Premieres Sunday, June 2, in the U.S. and Canada before rolling out in international markets the next day.


 Apple TV+’s The Big Cigar the six-episode limited series based on Joshuah Bearman’s magazine article of the same name stars André Holland who takes on the role of revolutionary Huey P. Newton the founder of the Black Panther Party. It tells the story of how Newton escaped the FBI and fled to Cuba with the help of famed Hollywood producer Bert Schneider (played by Alessandro Nivola) who helps the political activist evade a murder charge, as police attempt to pin him for the death of a 17-year-old sex trafficking victim in 1974.

Tiffany Boone stars alongside Holland as Newton’s girlfriend Gwen Fontaine, along with an ensemble cast that includes P.J. Byrne, Marc Menchaca, Moses Ingram, Rebecca Dalton, Olli Haaskivi, Jordane Christie and Glynn Turman.


Peacock’sFight Night

Don Cheadle has been cast alongside Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson and Taraji P. Henson in the limited series. The story revolves around an armed robbery (and its fallout) on the night of Muhammad Ali’s 1970 comeback fight in Atlanta. Cheadle joins a cast that also includes Kevin Hart (who’s also executive producing), Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Dexter Darden (who’s playing Ali) and Myles Bullock.


Run The Burbs Canceled After 3 Seasons

Co-creator and star Andrew Phung shared the news Thursday on Instagram that CBC has canceled the series after three seasons.

Run the Burbs followed the Phams, a young Vietnamese-South Asian family taking a different approach to living life to the fullest, while changing the way we think about contemporary family values and life in the burbs.

In addition to Phung, the cast included Rahkee Morzaria, Zoriah Wong and Roman Pesino. Phung and Scott Townend served as executive producers.


Apple TV+ has moved up the premiere date for Presumed Innocent, its upcoming limited series starring and executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal.

Inspired by Scott Turow’s 1990 courtroom thriller, the series from David E. Kelley, J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot and Warner Bros. TV will premiere Wednesday, June 12, just a few days after its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 9.


Netflix Lands Series ‘Calabasas

A TV series which Kim Kardashian is executive producing with her American Horror Story co-star Emma Roberts, Pretty Little Liars creator I. Marlene King and Alexandra Milchan (Tár) has been picked up for development, based on the book If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous By Now by Via Bleidner.

Calabasas follows Via, a 16-year-old sheltered Midwestern Catholic school girl whose world is turned upside down when her family moves and she’s forced to transfer to the fast world of Calabasas High where nothing is as it appears and where everyone is trying to be someone else. It’s a place where dreams come true, but not without complications and sometimes unforeseen consequences.


Meta Golding Joins Netflix’sRansom Canyon’ Romantic Drama Series.

Meta Golding (Rabbit Hole) has been cast for a key recurring role in Ransom Canyon, Netflix’s new romantic drama series, starring Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly.

Based on Jodi Thomas’ book series, Ransom Canyon is a romance-fuelled family drama and contemporary western saga that charts the intersecting lives of three ranching families, all set against the rugged expanse of Texas Hill Country.

Golding plays Paula Jo. Tougher than the toughest nail. A force to be reckoned with. Davis’ fiery ex-wife and Reid’s mom Paula Jo rolls into Ransom Canyon in her red Porsche and matching red-bottomed heels determined to make waves.

Also starring James Brolin, Eoin Macken, Lizzy Greene, Marianly Tejada, Jack Schumacher, Garrett Wareing and Andrew Liner. Recurring cast includes Brett Cullen, Kate Burton, Jaren Robledo, Jennifer Ens, Kenneth Miller, Niko Guardado, Justin Johnson Cortez and Casey W. Johnson. Philip Winchester will guest star.
