Tracker Casting News

Ackles will guest-star on Sunday, May 12 (CBS, 9/8c), in Season 1’s penultimate episode, “Off the Books.” Colter is forced to team up with his estranged brother, Russell, who enlists his help to track down a former army buddy who’s gone missing after several weeks of paranoid behavior. The investigation takes the brothers into the world of Special Forces missions, shady off-the-books programs and conspiracy theories, all while they contend with their family’s past.

Tracker stars Justin Harley as as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country and uses his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries; all while contending with his own fractured family. Their parents, Ashton and Mary (played by Oz’s Lee Tergesen and Good Sam’s Wendy Crewson), were professors at Berkeley until there was this incident with Colter’s dad, and he took them to live off the grid at this cabin by Sierra National Forest.

Tracker was previously renewed for Season 2. New episodes air Sundays at 9/8c on CBS (and stream next day on Paramount+).

Fire Country News

Previously on Fire Country: terminally ill Three Rock inmate Rudy braved an escape, and during his brief time on the lam, it appeared that he had killed the county sheriff as well as shot a lieutenant in the arm. It turned out, though, that said sheriff’s lieutenant was crooked and had offed his boss himself.

Although Rudy had not committed murder before being caught, the incident has ignited concerns among the Edgewater community, to a degree that the Three Rock fire camp’s very existence, which was already being called into question, is threatened. Three Rock captain Eve (Jules Latimer) this week leads a news crew on a tour of Three Rock, all the while with Luke (Michael Trucco) looking, very closely, on.

Now, having replaced Sharon as Cal Fire Division Chief, Luke is determined to do whatever is necessary to keep Three Rock in the state of California’s good graces. Airs Fridays at 9:00PM on CBS.
