For All Mankind at AppleTV+

AppleTV+’s alt-history space drama has been renewed for Season 5. For All Mankind’s Season 4 finale concluded with a nine-year time jump from 2003 to 2012, which revealed that asteroid Goldilocks is now home to the Kuznetsov Station. The episode was less clear about which characters had made it to that future. Earlier in the hour, a riot broke out on Mars between the Helios workers and security, leading Dani to get shot, but she miraculously survived and made it back down to Earth to reunite with her family. Meanwhile, Margo was arrested by the FBI for sabotaging NASA’s mission, and Ed’s declining health and his role in the riot left his future in question.

Hulu’s Amanda Knox Drama

Margaret Qualley (The Maid ) has dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. The project will chronicle Knox’s incorrect conviction for the murder of her roommate, Meredith Kircher, when they were foreign students living in Italy, as well as Knox’s 16-year odyssey to set herself free.

Wednesday Season 2

Centering on the morbid teen’s misadventures while enrolled at the peculiar Nevermore Academy, Season 1 followed her efforts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships of the strange and diverse student body.

Star and producer Jenna Ortega revealed during her conversation with Elle Fanning for Variety’s Actors on Actors series that the show is ditching the love triangle between Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) and Xavier Thorpe (Percy Hynes White). Instead, they’ve decided to lean into the horror aspect of the show a little bit more.

Steve Buscemi will reportedly play Nevermore Academy’s new principal.

A Man in Full at Netflix

The upcoming drama based on the bestselling Tom Wolfe novel, with Emmy winner Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom) starring as Charlie Croker, a wealthy Atlanta real estate tycoon with a thick Southern drawl whose world comes crashing down when he suddenly faces bankruptcy. But he’s not going down without a fight and without grabbing a few rattlesnakes with his bare hands, either.

Daniels is joined by Diane Lane (FEUD: Capote Vs. the Swans) as Charlie’s ex-wife Martha, with a supporting cast that includes Lucy Liu (Elementary), Tom Pelphrey (Ozark), William Jackson Harper (The Good Place) and Bill Camp (The Queen’s Gambit).

A Man in Full premieres Thursday, May 2 on Netflix.

In last season’s finale, Deborah’s latest special became a huge success, with networks and streamers fighting over it and every press outlet in town wanting to interview her. At a lavish party to celebrate the project’s good fortune, Deborah made a shocking call to fire Ava despite how well the two were getting on, telling her young mentee that Ava needed to make space for her own work and creativity.
