Bobby and Athena aren’t quite finished with us yet. ABC has renewed the show for Season 8. Amongst all ABC entertainment programming airing this TV Season, 9-1-1 stands as the network’s most-watched series.
9-1-1 stars Angela Bassett as Athena Grant, Peter Krause as Bobby Nash, Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Kenneth Choi as Howie “Chimney” Han, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz, Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz and Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley.
New episodes of 9-1-1 air Thursdays at 8/7c on ABC, leading into new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19.

ABC has renewed the show for Season 21. Season 19 saw leading lady Ellen Pompeo (aka Meredith Grey) make her exit as a regular, leaving Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey) and James Pickens Jr. (Richard Webber) as the only characters from the first Season remaining in the longest running primetime series in the network’s history.

Emmy winner and Academy Award nominee Felicity Huffman guest-stars as Gideon’s Ex- Wife Dr. Jill Gideon, a brilliant biological psychiatrist who winds up helping the FBI’s Behavioural Analysis Unit investigate a murderous conspiracy theory.
Jill is reluctant to assist the BAU, given her complicated history with both David Rossi (played by Joe Mantegna) and her late ex-husband, Jason Gideon (played in Criminal Minds‘ first seasons by Mandy Patinkin), but she comes to realize that her skill set could help them uncover another clue to the elusive Gold Star mystery.
Chicago Fire
Rome Flynn, (Gibson) arrived in Episode 2 of the current 12th season, ostensibly replacing firefighter Blake Gallo, whose portrayer Alberto Rosende departed in the season opener. Rome Flynn has exited the NBC series after six episodes as Gibson began experiencing withdrawal from prescription drugs and left the firehouse to seek treatment.
Tracy Spiridakos (aka Detective Hailey Upton) will leave Chicago P.D. after the current 11th season, while Chicago Med has welcomed Luke Mitchell (Blindspot) in Season 9 as new doc Mitch Ripley.
All American
Hunter Clowdus, who co-starred as football player JJ Parker since All American’s debut, has exited the CW series ahead of its sixth season. In Season 5, as JJ joined a fraternity, developed a drinking habit and isolated himself from his friends amid Coach Baker’s tragic death. All American returned for its sixth season on Monday, April 1, at 8/7c.
Mayor of Kingstown will return for on Paramount+ for Season 3 on Sunday, June 2. Season 3 of the show will find a series of explosions rocking Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop and a drug war rages on. The pressure is on Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) to end the war, but things get complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatens to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep the peace among all factions
