Black Doves at Netflix

BAFTA winner Adeel Akhtar (“Fool Me Once”), Keira Knightley (Boston Strangler) (Tracey Ullman (“The Tracey Ullman Show”), Finn Bennett (“True Detective: Night Country”) and Luther Ford (“The Crown”) have joined the cast of Netflix spy series “Black Doves.” Also starring will be Ben Whishaw (“Passages”), Sarah Lancashire (“Happy Valley”), Andrew Buchan (“Carnival Row”), Andrew Koji (“Warrior”), Kathryn Hunter (“Andor”), Sam Troughton (“Chernobyl”), Ella Lily Hyland (“Fifteen Love”), Adam Silver (“The Diplomat”), Ken Nwosu (“Look the Other Way and Run”), Gabrielle Creevy (“In My Skin”) and Omari Douglas (“Rye Lane”).

For 10 years, she’s been passing on her politician husband’s secrets to the shadowy organisation she works for: the Black Doves. When her secret lover Jason (Koji) is assassinated, her spymaster, the enigmatic Reed (Lancashire), calls in Helen’s old friend Sam (Whishaw) to keep her safe. ‘You’ Season 5

Anna Camp (Tru Blood) and Griffin Matthews (The Flight Attendant, Genius, Ballers) have been cast in “You” Season 5 at Netflix as series regulars. Madeline Brewer would also appear in a series regular role.

Camp will play both Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, twin sisters-in-law to Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). Raegan is the cunning, cutthroat CFO of the Lockwood Corp who has her eyes on the throne and will crush any adversary; be them family or not. Maddie, on the other hand, presents as the unserious twin, a thrice-divorced socialite whose job is ‘vaguely PR.’ But make no mistake, a master manipulator lies underneath Maddie’s frivolous façade.

Matthews will play Teddy Lockwood, described as the snarky yet loyal brother-in-law of Joe Goldberg. A confidante who was never fully accepted by the Lockwood family, Teddy brings authenticity and empathy to a family for whom such things are a foreign concept.
