NCIS: Origins Casting News

Mariel Molino (ABC’s Promised Land) has been cast opposite Austin Stowell in the CBS‘ upcoming prequel series.

Molino will portray Special Agent Lala Dominguez, a former Marine with a dark sense of humor. When a tormented Leroy Jethro Gibbs joins her team, the ensuing story between these two enigmatic outsiders is filled with sparks and turns that will keep the audience guessing.”

The newest chapter in the NCIS franchise, which is set shortly after the death of Gibbs’ first wife, will be narrated by Mark Harmon, who portrayed the character for 19 seasons on the flagship series. 

Origins picks up in 1991, just as Gibbs is starting his career as a newly minted Special Agent at the fledgling NIS Camp Pendleton office. There, Jethro forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by franchise legend Mike Franks (Muse Watson).


Doctor Who Sets Release Date for XL Season 14 Premiere

Season 14 will open with two new episodes. The adventures of the Fifteenth Doctor (played by Ncuti Gatwa) and his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) will begin streaming Friday, May 10 at 7 pm EDT — on Disney+ in the U.S. and internationally (excluding the UK). In the UK, the season will kick off Saturday, May 11 at 12 am GMT (on BBC iPlayer, followed by BBC One later that day).


Suits: L.A. Casting News

Bryan Greenberg (One Tree Hill, How to Make It in America) has joined the cast of NBC’s Suits offshoot as a series regular. Greenberg will play entertainment lawyer Rick Dodsen, a protégé of high-powered Los Angeles attorney Ted Black, played by series star Stephen Amell. Slated to be promoted, Rick is determined to stay one step ahead of his rival, Erica Rollins, played by Lex Scott Davis. The cast also includes Josh McDermitt (The Walking Dead), Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and Troy Winbush (The Goldbergs).


The Undertow Casting News

Jamie Dornan (The Tourist, The Fall and Once Upon a Time) will star as identical twins in Netflix’s crime noir series The Undertow. Based on the Norwegian series Twin, The Undertow. Suffocating in a loveless marriage to Adam (Dornan), Nicola’s (Mackenzie Davis) life takes a dramatic turn when Adam’s long-estranged identical twin brother Lee (Dornan) comes crashing back into her life, and their tangled romantic past threatens to destroy the present. A split-second decision and a terrible accident drives Nicola to protect her children, and over the course of one week, Lee and Nicola are forced together, struggling to maintain a web of secrets and lies. Though they can’t ignore their feelings for each other, they both know they’re living on borrowed time.

The ensemble also includes Mackenzie Davis (Station Eleven), Iain De Caestecker (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Gary Lewis (Vigil).


Black Rabbit Casting News

Jason Bateman will direct the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer, along with Jude Law. The forthcoming limited series on Netflix centers on the owner of a New York City hotspot (Law) who allows his turbulent brother (Bateman) back in his life, but by doing so, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.

Also featuring Cleopatra Coleman (The Last Man on Earth), Amaka Okafor (Bodies), Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù (Gangs of London) and Dagmara Dominczyk (Succession).


Snowpiercer Season 4 News

AMC has acquired exclusive U.S. linear and streaming rights to all four seasons. The first three seasons will air on AMC+ later this year, while Season 4 will follow on AMC and AMC+ in early 2025.


Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 Update

Season 4 will find Tariq St Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr) and Brayden Weston (Gianni Paolo) forming new alliances and finding a way back into the game. But when Brayden starts flirting with a new, reckless lifestyle, Tariq wonders if there really is room for two at the top. The 4th and final Season of Power Book II: Ghost will air on Friday, June 7 at 8/7c, with the second half kicking off on Friday, Sept. 6, at 8 pm, following the recent announcement of prequel series Origins, continuing the Power universe.
