After sweeping the Emmys last month there are rumours a second Season is coming. The creators pitched the Season to buyers as an anthology series, so stay tuned for more updates.
And Just Like That Season 3 News
Sara Ramirez is out. Their Che character had reached a natural conclusion, since their relationship with Miranda had ended. In case you missed it, Ramírez co-starred in the first two seasons of Max’s Sex and the City continuation as Che Diaz, a boisterous non-binary stand-up comic who co-hosted a sex and relationship podcast with Carrie. Che later became involved in a tryst with Carrie’s friend Miranda, a tryst that got so heated that Miranda left her husband Steve to be with Che. In Season 2, Miranda went to L.A. with Che while they filmed a sitcom pilot, but when the pilot wasn’t picked up, Che spiraled into a depression that led to them and Miranda breaking up. Hang on to your wine because Season 3 won’t air until 2025.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood Prequel Series Update
Rory Alexander (Hulu’s Pistol) as a young Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, Sam Retford (Coronation Street) as headstrong Dougal MacKenzie, Séamus McLean Ross as Dougal’s shrewd older brother Colum, and Conor MacNeill (Industry) as a young Ned Gowan. These roles were originated on Outlander by Duncan LaCroix, Graham McTavish, Gary Lewis and Bill Paterson, respectively.
The Good Doctor Season 7, Episode 2 (ABC, Tuesday at 10/9c) will introduce Kayla Cromer (Everything’s Gonna Be Okay) and Wavyy Jonez (Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.) as doctors-in-training Charlie and Dom. The former is eager to scrub in alongside Dr. Murphy; the latter is eager for his surgical rotation to be over.
Beacon 23 Update
Season 2 Premiere Date on MGM+ on April 7, 2024. Based on Hugh Howey’s 2015 novel, Beacon 23 respectively stars Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey and Homecoming‘s Stephan James as Aster and Halan, a government agent and stoic ex-military man whose fates become entangled when they are trapped together inside one of many Beacons that serve as a lighthouse for intergalactic travelers. Ellen Wong (GLOW) is joining the cast for the second season.
Ghosts Casting News
Lamorne Morris (New Girl) has been cast as a a poltergeist that spends eternity tethered to a living human. And while stopping by the B&B, Saul hits it off with Prohibition-era singer Alberta (played by Danielle Pinnock).
Morris is best known for playing New Girl roommate Winston Bishop on the Fox sitcom. His other TV credits include the most recent season of FX’s Fargo and the Hulu comedy Woke.
Ghosts airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on CBS.
NCIS Update
The original NCIS celebrates its 1,000th episode which will air as the seventh episode of NCIS Season 21, on Monday, April 15. Not much is known about the episode except there’ll be a personal storyline, and this one will circle around Director [Leon] Vance, played by series vet Rocky Carroll.
The Rookie 100th Episode
With the second episode of the season marking the 100th overall, it will feature Nolan (Nathan Fillion) and Bailey’s (Jenna Dewan) comedy-filled lead up to their wedding day. Until a crisis involving one of Mid-Wilshire Division’s finest turns the light tone on its head.
The Rookie Season 6’s 100th episode premieres Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 9/8c, on ABC.
