Julia Cancelled at Max After 2 Seasons

Max has cancelled the biopic series Julia after two seasons. Sarah Lancashire starred as legendary chef Julia Child, who became a household name with her TV cooking series The French Chef, bringing gourmet cuisine to the masses. Frasier alum David Hyde Pierce co-starred as Julia’s husband Paul, with a supporting cast that included Bebe Neuwirth, Brittany Bradford, Fran Kranz, Fiona Glascott, and Robert Joy.


Our Flag Means Death Cancelled at Max

Max has cancelled the pirate comedy, starring Rhys Darby and executive producer Taika Waititi (as Stede Bonnet and Captain Blackbeard, respectively), Samson Kayo, Vico Ortiz, Ewen Bremner, Joel Fry, Matthew Maher, Kristian Nairn, Con O’Neill, David Fane, Samba Schutte, Nat Faxon and Leslie Jones has been cancelled after two seasons.


American Born Chinese Cancelled After 1 Season at Disney+

Based on the graphic novel, followed a mythological god (played by Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh) whose life becomes entangled with an average American teenager (played by Ben Wang). The ensemble also included Yeoh’s Everything Everywhere All At Once castmates, fellow Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu.


The Good Doctor Ending with Season 7

The medical drama stars Freddie Highmore as autistic surgeon Shaun Murphy, who overcomes personal and professional hurdles while working at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Dr. Murphy married his longtime love Lea (Paige Spara) at the end of Season 5, while Season 6 culminated in the birth of their son, Steve Aaron Murphy named after Shaun’s late brother Steve and his surrogate father, Dr. Aaron Glassman.


The Flight Attendant Not Returning for Season 3

Based on Chris Bohjalian’s 2018 novel of the same name and described as “a story of how an entire life can change in one night,” The Flight Attendant follows Kaley Cuoco (Big Bang Theory) as Cassandra Bowden, who wakes up hungover in a Dubai hotel room with a dead body next to her, and no idea what happened. Instead of informing the police, she joins her fellow crew members on a flight to NYC, where she is met by FBI agents with a few questions about her recent layover. Unable to piece together what happened, Cassandra begins to suspect that she might be the killer.

In addition to Cuoco, who also served as an executive producer (alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and others), The Flight Attendant‘s cast includes Zosia Mamet (Girls), Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones), Rosie Perez (Rise), T.R. Knight (Grey’s Anatomy), Colin Woodell (The Originals), Michelle Gomez (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Merle Dandridge (Greenleaf), Griffin Matthews (Dear White People) and Nolan Gerard Funk (Awkward).


Schmigadoon! Cancelled After Two Seasons at Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has cancelled the musical satire after two seasons. The news comes eight months after the release of the May 3 finale.


Rap Sh!t Cancelled at Max After 2 Seasons

Rap Sh!t centered on Shawna Clark (Aida Osman) and Mia Knight (KaMillion), a pair of estranged high school friends from Miami who reunited to form a rap group. Its Season 2 finale, which released on Dec. 21, 2023, now serves as the show’s series finale.


Doctor Who to Replace New Companion Millie Gibson

Gibson played companion Ruby Sunday in Doctor Who: The Church on Ruby Road opposite fellow franchise newcomer Ncuti Gatwa. The Christmas special ended with Gibson’s Ruby Sunday meeting up with the Doctor in the TARDIS, and thus beginning her adventures with him through time and space. Andor‘s Varada Sethu will debut in Season 15 as the Doctor’s new companion.
